Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.

He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.

“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.

Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.

He reveals the deep and secret things. He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
