- Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling.

- So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, perseverance; and in perseverance, godliness; and in godliness, brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.

- Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
- Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
- To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
- Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.
